Forex is the popular term for foreign exchange markets. The banks and brokerage firms are linked via electronic network to do business in the stock markets. The network allows them to convert currencies worldwide.

It became the chief and largest liquefied financial market around the globe. Take for instance, the volume of dollar currencies can rapidly increase in trillions of dollars within a day in currency markets. It even goes beyond the total volume of the total equities in the U.S. as well as future markets.

Forex trading is dominated often by commercial banks, investment banks, and government central banks. This is the main reason why many private investors are dealing on currency exchanges. They find it easier to access the market through technological innovations such as the internet.

It also provides the needed information in the stocks market regarding trading forex. The currencies which are widely traded include British Pound, US Dollar, Japanese Yen, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, and Canadian Dollar. Forex trading is done 5 days within a week and the traders can have constant access to various dealers all around the world. The trading does not mainly focus on any exchange or physical location and the transaction happens between two persons via electronic network or a phone line.

Forex trading has grown rapidly on the global market. The restrictions on the flow of capital have even been put off in various countries. This factor leads to market independence settling the forex rates on its perceived values. There are different reasons why forex trading is very popular. It include utmost liquidity, available leverage, lower trading costs.

There are different advantages of forex trading in the stock markets. Traders are making bigger sums of money by selling and buying foreign currencies. However, some people might ask of its advantages on the stock market.

1. Liquidity. Forex market can handle transactions even if it reaches 1.5 trillion dollars every day. Take note, this is a very large volume. It only denotes that sellers and buyers are always available regardless of the currency types. So, if the trader wanted to buy, there is always an available seller, and if the trader wanted to sell, there is always an available buyer.

2. There is no insider in the trading systems. Remember, constant value fluctuations of several currencies are caused by economic change. Some traders may obtain the information before others get it. So, they can sell or buy it within the stock markets. However, the nation’s economy is accessible to every trader so nobody can take an inside advantage to anyone.

3. It has accessibility. It is operational for five days within a week and accessible for twenty four hours. Trading can be made during this period.

4. It has more predictability. It always follow the market trends even the trends that are well established.

5. It can allow smaller investments. The potential traders can open mini accounts even for a few bucks of dollars. Forex trading has high leverage which is around 100:1. It only signifies that your assets can be controlled 100 times over your invested money.

6. It has no commissions. The forex trading brokers can earn money through setting their spreads where they weigh the process between selling and buying currencies.

Forex trading can be one of the best systems in day trading. Since it deals with currency trades, it can have the largest volumes of trading. Although it can be labeled as high risks trading systems, it can bring the traders higher returns within minutes.

However traders should be aware that forex trading needs a thorough research before starting it. Never confine yourself with only one source. Always make it a part of your plan to research first before engaging yourself in the real forex trading. It is not enough to know its advantages. As a trader, you need to clearly understand the systems involved in forex trading. It is helpful if you read the latest forums posted in the community boards.

It is also important to find the best forex trading systems. In this manner, you can incorporate a course, software, or method developed by forex trading experts. Take note, there are various system types that are available. It is important to find the right system that will fit in your goals in the industry of trading forex to achieve success.

Tips For A Good Forex Trading System

Keywords: forex,forex software,forex trading software,forex tips,forex education,pips,forex trading systems,

One rule of thumb that every aspiring entrepreneur should remember is that to make huge profits, you should know how to do it by yourself—and not rely on other’s efforts. Being independent from other people will help you determine what things are best for your business.

Such rule applies on all types of investments, including foreign currency trading, or mostly known as Forex trading. It cannot be denied that Forex is the largest existing market around the world, which is estimated to have an excess of 2 trillion U.S. dollars worth of foreign currencies are traded each day. It is larger than the magnitude of the New York Stock Exchange, which is approximately 50 billion U.S. dollars. Thus, Forex market exceeds all combined equity markets around the world.

With such huge wealth circulating around the Forex market, one of your financial goals is to grab a major slice of that $2 trillion average daily turnover in the market. How you will be able to get a substantial portion of that average turnover if you do not know how you will handle your Forex business? Although you cannot live in the market alone (you need business partners and/or financial advisers to help you along), only you can determine what the best Forex business there is for you.

To get huge profits out of your Forex trading career, you need to build your own profitable system—a trading system that will bring your not just hundreds but thousands of dollars worth of Forex revenues. Such trading system is available on the market, but as previously mentioned, you need to be independent—and you need to have your own Forex trading system that will help you achieve your financial goals.

For new traders, it is difficult for them to device their own trading system since they do not have too much knowledge about the Forex market. However, even a neophyte trader can device a trading system that will fit on his personal preference and needs—in just five easy steps!

Before we discuss the five easy steps towards a profitable Forex trading system, you need to learn first the three main characteristics of a successful Forex trading system. These are as follows:

1. A successful Forex trading system is simple. There is no need for a complicated trading system with too many rules. It is a proven truth that simple systems work better than complicated ones, and they have higher chances of success despite of the “brutal” characteristic of Forex trading.

2. A successful Forex trading system cuts losses and runs profits. Keep in mind that you need a trading system that gets the huge possible profits and eliminates losses quickly, if not instantly.

3. A successful Forex trading system follows long-term trends. You will never cover your losses if you are just generating small profits. Keep in mind that the Forex market is worth $2 trillion U.S. dollars, thus there is no point in trading in exchange for just small profits if you have the opportunity to make trades for larger revenues. Focus on long-term trends and you will be able to see better results.

Now, here are the five easy steps in building a profitable Forex trading system:

1. As previously mentioned, your trading system must be as simple as possible. Integrate few yet essential rules and an extensive investment management system.

2. Always look for long-term trends (preferably on a weekly basis), then shift to daily charts and to time entry. This will help you analyze market trends efficiently.

3. The ideal way of trading foreign currencies is through breakout method.

4. Always watch for any break that you will note on your chart, which is commonly confirmed by stochastic crossed with bearish divergence. This will be your great timing tool whether you will enter a certain deal or not.

5.You must integrate effective time management within your system. Time is gold and is one of your precious resources. Design a trading system that is time efficient—where you can maximize the potential of your time resources to generate huge profits.

Get away with complicated systems; it will just ruin your entire Forex trading career. Build a simpler one and see for yourself how profitable it is.

Learn How You can Make Gains from Using the Forex trading Grid Technique

Learn How You can Make Gains from Using the Forex trading Grid Technique

Keywords: Forex Trading, Hedged Trading, Hedged Forex Trading, Hedged Grid Trading, Trading Strategies, Mathematical trading method

The most important part of how to make money using the no stop, hedged, Forex trading strategy will now be covered. In the preceding articles in this series we reviewed trading without stops, not being concerned about which way the price moves and places to cash in on profitable transactions. We are now going to show how you would make money buying and selling simultaneously using the grid strategy.

The no stop, hedged currency trading grid system uses the rule that one should be able to close a transaction at a gain no matter which way the market moves. The only way this is logically possible is that one would have a buy and a sell transaction active simultaneously. Most traders will say that doing this is not recommended but let’s look at this in more detail.

Assuming a grid with grid gaps of 100 pips. We are going to use the simplest formation to show the principles involved. This formation is the 100% retractment formation where the price goes up to a grid level and then returns back to the starting grid level. Regrettably things become quite mathematical from here. We are also ignoring broker spreads to keep things simple.

Let us say that a trader enters the market with a buy (buy 1) and sell (sell 1) deal active when a currency is at a level of say 1.0100. The price then goes to level 1.0200. The buy will then be positive by 100 pips. The sell will be negative by 100 pips. Now we would cash in our positive deal and bank our 100 pips. The sell is now however is carrying a loss of -100 pips. The grid system requires one to ensure that the trader can cash in on any movement in the Forex market. To do this one would again enter into a buy (buy 2) and a sell (sell 2) deal at this level (level 1.0200).

Now, for convenience let us say that the price moves back to level 1.0100 (the starting point).

The second sell (sell 2) has now gone positive by 100 pips and the second buy (buy 2) is making a loss of -100 pips. According to the grid trading rules you would cash the sell (sell 2) in and another 100 pips will be added to your account. That brings the grand total cashed in at this point to 200 pips (buy 1 and sell 2). At this stage the first sell that is active has moved from level 1.0200 where it was -100 to level 1.0100 where it is now breaking even.

The 4 transactions added together now incredibly show a gain:- 1st buy (buy 1) cashed in +100, 2nd sell (sell 2) cashed in +100, 1st sell (sell 1) now breaking even and the 2nd buy (buy 2) is -100. This gives an overall a gain of 100 pips in total. We can liquidate all the deals and have some champagne as we have made a profit of 100 pips.

Please make sure you understand the mathematics behind the activities discussed above. You may have to reread and draw the movements on a piece of paper to make sure you understand the concept.

This formation is the 100% retracement formation where the price goes up to a grid level and then returns back to the starting grid level and results in a nice profit for the forex trader. There are many other market movements that turn this strange Buy and Sell at the same time activity into profits. The next article will cover the 50% retractment formation which produces the same amount of profit.

There will be much more on the no stop, hedged grid trading system in future articles in this directory. Do not miss them, whatever you do.

10 Advantages Savings Plans Have That The Forex Does Not

10 Advantages Savings Plans Have That The Forex Does Not

1. Safety. In general an investment paying 12% interest is not as safe as one paying 6%, but it is doubtful if the 12% investment involves twice the risk.

If the income offsets the additional risk or provides a reserve against which to write off losses when they eventually come, then high yield investments justify themselves, and they do when they are chosen with intelligence, with information at hand on the investment and when they are administered carefully, as we will see.

Along with this general theory that there is a good deal of merit to investing in high yield opportunities, safety should be stressed. This leads us to the second characteristic of the investments we are going to examine.

2. Collateral or guarantees. A home owner may show you his bank account and also prove that he owns his home free and clear, so that you conclude that he is a good risk whose signature on a note is as good as gold but it is far wiser for you to take a mortgage on his home. Or if he has securities it is better to have him assign the securities to you than just to take his promise to pay.

If a dealer sells you a customer's conditional sales contract on an automobile he sold on which the customer is obligated to pay in time payments over a given number of months or years, it is well, if possible, to have the dealer guarantee the contract in case the customer defaults. Two people are obligated to pay, and certainly two are better than one.

3. Provision for easy repayment. If someone borrows $2000 from you at an attractive rate of interest and promises to repay it at the end of 12 months with 15% interest, the proposition on its face is a bad one. If he needs the $2000 now, what assurance is there that he will have it to repay at the end of 12 months? Such a sum is not small. Does he intend to borrow from Peter to pay Paul at the end of a year? In New York City a seemingly very substantial man did just this for years and got away with it until he died. That was over two years ago and the creditors are left holding the notes.

Periodic, small payments are a sensible requirement, and it must be demonstrated that the debtor can make these payments out of his income when all of his obligations are taken into consideration, and these obligations must be known.

4. Responsibility for payment. Some individual or individuals, or a corporation composed of very distinct individuals must be obligated to pay in the type investment we are talking about. Unimproved land on the edge of the city may be a fine investment. Some day it may double or even triple in value, but what we are trying to emphasize is the type of investment in which there is an obligation on the part of a person or persons to pay a given amount at a given time or in time payments, and you as the investor must look to this person or these persons to pay you on the due date.

5 .Liquidity. The longer a contract runs the less liquid it is and generally the less desirable. You cannot get your money out of it for a long time, and then the business or the business climate may change. The person who lent $10,000 in 1928 for five years in all probability had difficulty in collecting in 1933. A demand note is certainly preferable to a five year note. You may have need for the money sooner than you thought when you made the investment, and if you are tied up for five years you cannot get your funds back. Perhaps better opportunities will present themselves. Stay as liquid as possible.

6. Spreading of the risk. If you have $10,000 to invest it is best not to put it all in one place into a mortgage for instance. It is far better to put it into five mortgages of $2,000 each. The $10,000 mortgage could be defaulted, but there is not so great a probability that all five mortgages will be defaulted.

7. Part time administration. We are not writing for the purpose of getting a person to quit his job in order to devote all of his time to his investments. We are writing for the person who wants to invest in his spare time and look after his investments in his spare time. The investments described here may in some cases require more watching than others he has made, but by definition they must require a minimum of administration on the investor's part. Payments must be made regularly, and the skipped or late payment must be the exception.

8. Business functions performed by someone else. You as the investor should not undertake to perform any business function. The only function you should perform, once the investment is made, is to receive the payments, and in the event that payments are not made, you should be able to resort to a simple procedure at law to retrieve your money. If you invest in a filling station you should not have to hire a manager and then proceed to sell gas and oil yourself, under our definition of the type investment discussed here. The filling station should be leased to a major oil company for a fixed rental, and the oil company should perform all of the business functions.

9. Investment not subject to litigation. When a debtor can't or won't pay, the first thing he thinks of generally is some defense (and his imagination is unlimited on this point) against paying you: you had agreed to lend him more at the end of a year, and because you did not lend more his business failed. Or the rate of interest you charged was usurious and thus contrary to law; or you really owed him something before you ever lent him the money, and this should be an offset against what he owes you. These defenses are used almost every day.

If he signs a note, he should sign a waiver of judgment note (in states which recognize such notes) and such a note will be described later. Your investment should not be subject to litigation, and you must be sure of this fact before you make it.

10. Tax advantage. The Internal Revenue Code and Regulations state what the obligations of a tax payer are and what they are not. You are obligated to pay every cent you owe, and you are not obligated to pay what you do not owe.

Certain types of investment are more heavily taxed than others. There is nothing the matter with investing in state and municipal government bonds just because you do not pay any federal income tax on the interest. This is the law, and it works to the advantage of the investor in government bonds and incidentally makes it less difficult for the state and municipal governments to finance their operations. Investments with a tax benefit or tax shelter are more desirable in many cases for the investor than those without such a benefit or shelter.

However the Forex can make you rich within months instead of years.

“How To” Start Trading The Forex Market? (Part 8)

Keywords: forex trading, managed forex accounts, alternative investments, how to start trading forex,

HOW TO predict the Future ?

by studying the Past (Technical Analysis):

1) The best traders don't discount one or the other but understand that having an understanding how the fundamentals influence market sentiment gives him/her an edge over those traders who don't.

2) In my opinion, TECHNICAL analysis is the easiest and most accurate way of trading the FOREX market.

3) "The number's don't lie" - all available information and its impact on the market, are already reflected in a currency's price.

4) Prices move in trends - the foreign exchange market is mostly composed of trends and therefore a place where technical analysis can be very effective.

5) History repeats itself - over time, certain chart patterns become consistent, predictable and very reliable. The question is SEEING them.

PRICES MOVE IN TRENDS

The traders who don't believe this obviously have no need to implement a trading methodology on technical analysis. But, research has shown that those who trade "with the trend", greatly improve their changes of making a profitable trade.

Finding the prevailing trend will help you become aware of the overall market direction and offer you better visibility, especially when shorter-term movements tend to clutter the picture.

HOW does technical analysis help to determine what the trend is and HOW to trade with then trend versus against it?

Even though, you learn you how to use and read various technical indicators to identify a long- term trend, spot predictable chart patters and use certain rules to enter and exit a high-probability trade, and even though a ll this involves sound logic, parameters, methods, formulas, data, and research, these technical indicators, by themselves, are not the Holy Grail of FOREX trading.

It takes discipline and emotional control to stick with trading following through the inevitable market ups and downs. Keep in mind, good technical traders expect ups and downs.

Which technical indicators are the BEST?

NONE - technical indicators should simply be components of your overall customized, personalized trading system, and not a stand alone system. The objectives as a FOREX Technical Trader are:

1) To figure out the price action of the currency pair. Price is the main concern. If the EUR/USD is at 1.2224 and goes to 1.2020, 1.1980, 1.1940- the market is in a down trend.

Despite what every technical indicator might predict, if the trend is down, stay with the trend. Indicators showing where price will go next or what it should be doing are useless.

A trader should only be concerned with what the market is doing, not what the market might do. The price tells you what the market is doing.

2) Always remember that technical indicators are only giving you confirmations based on what the market is telling you. So listen to the market and let it tell you which method, strategy or techniques you should use.

You will open a sell position for example,
(At that time we order pairs of the position of the Bid (Sell) at rate 1.3776), and afterwards in our portfolio will account directly (minus) -2 floating point spread because there is this difference. (the difference between his buy and sell prices)

Then after that in the hours of 7 pm position EUR / USD turns into:
Bid (Sell) = 1.3756, Ask (Buy) = 1.3758

In this example, we will get a profit of 1.3776 - 1.3758 = 18 pips / points

  • If we order the Bid (Sell), and then if its ask price (Buy) move down smaller than the original price of our Bid, then we will get the profit.

  • When you order with Ask (Buy), and then if its Bid (Sell) to move up beyond the original price of Ask us, then we will get the profit.

  •  But if otherwise it will Loss (or Floating Loss)

Floating prices is if we have not diclose position (diliquid to be realized) and still in a position to move the floating market.

Fundamental analysis and the term

Fundamental Analysis

In the next lesson, we learned menegenai fundamental analysis. Is it? Let us read ...

Fundamental analysis basically took the approach adjacent news or rumors circulating in the market, As we kethui with financial markets such as stocks and money markets are very sensitive denganberita being circulated in the market. So what happened to the FOREX market trading. It can even be said that the exchange rate moves are the news. In other words, market news is the driving emotion that resulted in changes in the balance point in the exchange rate.

If you are a layman, perhaps we are not too concerned with the rise in U.S. interest rates, for example. But tidakbagi a trader. Central Bank interest rate hike by the Fed (U.S. central bank) could mean stronger U.S. dollar to hundreds of points, which means that's where the money can be obtained. Or conversely, a loss may occur if action is not taken in accordance with the market.

That's why news / news greatly affect the investment portfolio of a forex trader, then it's time you also learn fundamental analysis.

There is a logical flow and economic laws that apply here. (Although sometimes it is not 100% effective in fact, fundamental analysis relates not only to the logical thinking of monetary policy or news coming out but also how the market reacts to the news aka the psychology of the market).

Survey data collected by mail questionnaire to 5,000 households across the country as a representative sample, approximately 3,500 of which responded. The questionnaire contains five questions: (1) rating business conditions in the household, (2) rating business conditions in six months, (3) the availability of jobs in the domestic environment, (4) availability of employment in the next six months, and (5) family income in the past six months.

Consumer Confidence is closely related to the unemployment rate, inflation, and
real income. Generally, consumer confidence high when low unemployment and high GDP growth rates.

Financial markets interpret this index as the increased number of indications will increase the level of consumer spending. The high level of spending in turn could trigger inflation.

 Unemployment Rate

Is the percentage of job seekers compared to the total population. Although it is the data
which is commonly known (as simple and there are political implications), Unemployment
Rate relatively less important for the market because it is considered less accurate (often late
signaling changes in economic trends).

Weekly Initial Jobless Claims

Is the average number of weekly new claims for unemployment benefits.
These data provide a report up-to-date, though also often wrongly, about the trends
economy, with an increase (decrease) in these data potentially indicate
slowdown (accelerated) growth rate of labor.

Due to be released weekly, this data can be very sensitive and volatile. Analysts more
selecting moving average per 4 weeks of data to get more accurate results.

There are only two directions you can trade, buy (buy) or sell (sell) the currency pair. Try to concentrate only for consistency in the EUR / USD, GBP / USD, USD / CHF, or GBP / JPY (four pairs of the most popular.)

These three steps should be done for some time. Take the time to get used to practicing.

Swap in forex? what is it?

SWAP (or Rollover, or Overnight Interest, or Rate) is the interest to be charged or given to you if you have a position to stay.

Examples swap calculation is as follows: (please note that the interest rate used is the interest rate for example in 2005's):

Euro interest rate was 4.25%, and the USA was 3.5%. You have 1 lot EURUSD Sell position, meaning you sell 100,000 Euros, which means you borrow 100,000 Euros with interest 4.25% / year, and buy dollar where you earn interest of 3.5% / year. Then you will pay (4.25% -3.5%) or about 0.9 points EURUSD. The sum will produce 675 dollars / year, or about 1.85 dollars per day. Now 1.85 USD per night depending on the broker-will-be inflated in such a way that there is never the same positive swap, let alone greater than the negative swap 1 pair in the same broker.
For example: swap for long at broker A pip is +1.23, then swap it to sell more than a definite minus 1.23.

Swap from Friday to Monday (2 nights) are usually combined as Wednesday -> Thursday. In most brokers, it will swap multiplied by 3.

How to see the amount of swap in MT4:

  1. Right click on the pair in the market watch, then click symbol.

  2. Choose a pair that would be seen swapnya, and then click Properties

  3. You will see the swap long and short swaps, and swap type.

Swap long is the amount charged / given if the stay position is Buy
Swap short is the amount charged / given if the stay is a Sell position
Swap is a unit type. In the picture above his USD swap type, then swap one day for a Buy XAUUSD (Gold) for 1 lot is -3.52 USD (you will be charged 3.52 USD). Swap this type can in point, AUD, GBP, EUR, USD, etc.. Depending on the setting of each broker
Well, because in Islam is not allowed any flowers, brokers usually provide free-swap for Muslims. The position of the stay will not be charged or given swap.

Currency rate differences large enough to cause a major swap. For example buy AUDUSD will get a sizable swap, because interest rates are much higher than the AUD USD. Similarly, the AUDJPY. Noteworthy is that if you open a sell position or AUDJPY AUDUSD to days (90% for floating loss), swap sometimes feel too big.

What To Consider When Comparing Forex Brokerages

What To Consider When Comparing Forex Brokerages

The forex market is a great place for individual investors, large and small, to engage in thrilling, fast-paced and potentially profitable trades. But you can't participate in forex currency trading if you don't first have a forex brokerage account. While most stock-market brokerages allow you to also trade bonds, mutual funds, and other financial instruments, forex brokerage accounts are typically standalone entities. Here is what you need to know about opening a brokerage account.

Leverage

One of the major benefits of trading currencies is the tremendous amount of leverage even small-time traders are allowed. Typical leverage is 100:1, meaning for every $1 in your brokerage account, you can control up to $100 in currencies. A thousand dollars would thus allow you to control $100,000 worth of currency, so if the currency went up by 1% -- $1,000 -- you would actually double your money! But if the currency went down by just 1%, you would lose all $1,000 of your investment. What would happen if the currency went down by 2%? Well, theoretically, you would lose $1,000 above and beyond your initial investment, but in reality, a brokerage firm will usually step in and prevent this kind of loss.

Your main decision is what level of leverage to apply for. Leverage is given based on credit-worthiness, so if your credit report is pretty poor, you might want to pursue just 50:1 leverage -- which still gives you a lot of room to profit but limits your risk. Alternatively, if you have true nerves of steel and a real knack for forex trading, you may be able to apply for as great as 250:1 leverage!

Spreads

The good news is that there are no commissions charged on forex trades. The bad news is that, like stocks, forex currency pairs do have a bid/ask spread -- meaning a market maker will pay less for a currency than he is willing to sell it for. These spreads are extremely small, usually less than 0.05 cents, but the wider the spread, the more costly trading will be over the long run.

Not every brokerage has the same spreads, so it is important to review the typical distance between the bid and ask prices before selecting a broker.

Other Considerations

First and foremost among all other considerations are the currency pairs that a given brokerage deals in. For example, if you want to perform a Japanese yen for Swiss franc trade, you will need to find a brokerage that offers that currency pair. Virtually every forex brokerage deals in the main currency pairs -- the U.S. dollar vs. each of the following currencies: The Euro, the British pound, the Australian dollar, the New Zealand dollar, the Canadian dollar, the Swiss franc, and the Japanese yen -- but not all brokers deal in every possible "cross currency" pair (i.e. currency pairs that do not involve the U.S. dollar).

Finally, it's important to deal with a reputable broker. Currency trading is far less regulated than most other financial markets, and there are a lot of fly-by-night companies in the business. Be sure to investigate the company before sending them a check for a few thousand dollars -- it will be time well spent.

Analyzing The Market For Great Forex Profits

There are so many Forex trading strategies out there that it’s not surprising so many people don’t know where to start. But actually, all of those strategies are some combination of two different techniques: fundamental or technical analysis.

A fundamental analyst looks at a nation’s entire financial picture to guide her trades, studying international macroeconomics and the forces that drive the supply of and demand for a currency. There are five of these factors:

• is that country’s government in good financial shape or in the red, and what is their financial policy (pro-business, labor, etc.)

• the balance of imports versus exports, which directly affects a nation’s money supply

• the growth of that country’s real gross domestic product (GDP); in other words, that nation’s purchasing power

• interest rate levels

• inflation level; in other words, how high are prices

These last three are all relative, which means they are compared to those same measurements for other countries to determine their strength or weakness, rather than considered as stand-alone numbers.

The fundamental analyst looks at all these factors and balances them against each other to determine whether a nation’s currency will appreciate or depreciate. Of course, as the Forex market trades the currency of one nation against that of another, the fundamental analyst cannot simply study the economic picture of one country; she must study both of them, and then compare them to determine which paints a more compelling financial picture.

The technical analyst, on the other hand, looks only at the charts. He looks at the price of a currency pair (or any other commodity, such as oil prices or stocks) and sees how it has varied through time, examining the patterns it has drawn with an eye to predicting what it might do in the future.

Technical analysis is flexible. It works the same way in any market with charts (Forex, stocks, commodities, etc.). Once you learn how it’s done, you can apply it in other markets and get the same results.

Fundamental analysis, on the other hand, is not flexible, because it looks at the economic data for each nation individually. The financial numbers for Great Britain, after all, have nothing to do with those for Japan or New Zealand, and the fundamental analyst cannot take her studies to another market. She must study one currency pair and learn its two nations’ economies intimately if she is to be successful with this technique.

That said, fundamental analysis is good for understanding what ought to happen and for predicting the long-range trend of a currency pair. It’s also true that many profitable trades are made immediately after economic announcements, when savvy traders jump into the market while everyone else is still gasping over the numbers.

On the other hand, technical analysis can give you a specific strategy for a trade, including entry and exit points and where to place your stops. It requires less time to learn than fundamental analysis, and works well for shorter trends and individual trades.

The most successful traders use a combination of these two techniques, combining chart analysis with the timing provided by economic announcements to get the best of both worlds.

This Is How Forex Brokers Trick You

broker_trickWhen it comes to making smart investments in these modern times, you'll find that one of the best options is Forex. This marketplace relies heavily on trading currency and matching up pairs that either rise or fall in value. This option differs from the traditional stock trading because it is open longer, can return greater yields on money put into the trades, and doesn't require a great deal of money to start moving forward.

With a small amount of money, anyone can start to trade with this marketplace. There are a lot of different tips that you can get online for this type of investment, but you'll want to learn how Forex brokers can trick you by playing the spread, without you even knowing it, so that you are able to truly take advantage of the options that are available to you.

Playing The Spread

In order to understand how the spread works, you'll need to look into how the market works and is used to make money by people just like you. The process involves coupling two currencies together and wagering on whether or not it will shift up, down, or stay the same. This can be done in short term trading scenarios, or longer term options that are relatively safe. For those that are trying to turn a profit with relative ease, hiring a broker to spread money across several currencies and wait for the sales and value to shift ever so slightly can be beneficial.

A broker in the industry can easily slip under the radar if not monitored correctly. This is done by playing the various spreads, and then moving to posting losing funds while pocketing fees. This can be a difficult matter to understand, as the bid/ask rates for online investors change from time to time. Because there are so many changes within the system, a person could miss out on huge payouts due in large part to simple issues such as ping speed, slippage and more.

What makes matters somewhat difficult for the average trader to understand is the fact that there are several different factors that go into the spread. Not only that, there are several different types of spreads utilized in Forex Trading. Fixed, fixed with extension, and variable spreads can all be utilized to invest. This means that if there is a fluctuation in the numbers, and it reaches the bare minimum of fees for the broker, you will not get any money. In some instances a loss will be posted, even though the fee will get paid for the process of trading. This can definitely be infuriating, especially when dealing with a variety of issues that may be beyond control of the trader. It's with this in mind that it's important to understand each component of trades made.

There are a lot of different issues that can cause alarm when dealing with currencies, which is why it's important to watch out for broker tricks and instead try to invest with a platform that gives you more control.

The most obvious Forex trading advantage

forex_advantageMany Forex traders can enumerate at least ten different reasons why they prefer to use options and opportunities only the foreign exchange currency market can offer them. You see Forex trading nowadays is the most widespread mean to earn money online in a legal and quite easy way if one knows, for sure, background and nuances dealing with this peculiar type of online trading.

Unlike futures or stocks economical markets Forex trading allows absolutely everyone who is ready to learn and be patient enough as well as a risky one in a healthy way to gain profits and real money by selling and buying the currency pairs.

However, all these advantages of Forex trading may offer are still not so clear for Forex newbies and they prefer to refuse from any efforts because they are afraid to lose all their money. Partially such risk always presents but the cons of Forex trading are less than pros and you as a FX beginner and prospective participant can persuade in it by reading about the most beneficial advantages Forex market can only propose.

1) The most obvious Forex trading advantage can boast is lower margin which means a trader can control a huge amount of the currency practically putting up only a small amount of the margin like with futures and stocks speculative processes. Nevertheless, Forex trading presupposes such margin requirements as one percent of the complete value of the holding (comparing with futures such requirements are about five percents). For instance, there is a margin which is required for trading foreign currency exchange and it equals one thousand dollars for every 100 thousands USD and this denotes that a Forex trader can trade with money which is five times more comparing with futures trader's money. In such way one can create a very profitable investing strategy in spite of all the risks which exist in the FX market. Only complete image of how a FX margin trading account works can help you to reduce these risks to minimum.

Monitoring of a margin balance regularly and utilization of stop-loss orders on each open by a trader position will assist in limiting downside risks and prevent from missing margin calls which not usually happen before liquidation of the chosen by a Forex trader positions. Understanding of all these nuances and consulting with experienced brokers and traders can help a newbie to orientate in this complicated, risky but still very profitable trading.

2) Forex trading requires no commissions and exchange fees and again unlikely trading in futures where one needs to pay a certain fee for exchange and brokerage services provides these services totally for free. You see, FX trading is rendered at the international financial market so no wonder that fee is not required but as the con the spread a broker asks for is obviously higher than in futures' trading.

3) Despite the common delusion risks which exist at the FX trading market are easy to limit and even reduce if a trader chooses the right policy and strategy. In addition it should be mentioned that stops are much easier to control as well that is why newbies will have all chances to stay in the benefits even doing their first steps as Forex investors, brokers and traders.

Among other advantages of FX trading many participants call availability of the FX market open 24 hours five days a week which makes it a great advantage comparing with other financial markets and also huge trading resources and opportunities this largest financial market in the world with a daily turnover with more than three trillions USD.

Make sure you can keep your cool and allow your better judgment to come into play. Patience tends to be rewarded handsomely.

The state of your finances also is a big factor when it comes to making a decision about getting involved with currency trading.

As with any type of investment, you need to make sure you can afford to lose what you invest without creating any problems with maintaining your current standard of living.

If you are not able to keep your head when it comes, to only using your disposable resources, to fund your currency trading, then you need to rethink the whole idea.

The Factors that Can Impact on Forex Market (Newbie Should Know)

forex impactAs far as every Forex beginner knows the Forex financial market’s main purpose is to involve trading of different international currencies to get profits from the fluctuations which occur within the limits of the exchange rates between two international currencies which form a pair a trader chooses to buy or sell gaining money from such transactions. No wonder that Forex market moves so quickly and frequently because the changes within the exchange rates of certain currencies pairs happen all the time due to a number of reasons.

These reasons make trading at the Forex very inconsistent and vulnerable meaning you can whether earn a lot of money or lose everything at once simply because of unexpected changes which will affect the open trades and cause wrong decisions a trader can make. In a case you are going to stay in the profits than losing your money we advise you to read further in order to take into account certain outside the Forex market factors that influence on this financial marketplace no matter of your desire and a well planned trading strategy.

So, what factors can make you whether a rich or a poor man at the Forex market?

1) Economic and Political News Reports

The most obvious factors which can impact on your trade positions are economic news concerning the Forex market on a global level. When a country which currency you chose as a base one in your currency pair releases the latest economical news these updates can whether negatively or positively impact on the exchange rates in general and on your open trades in particular. This factor should be foremost taken into account when you start planning your own Forex market trading strategy. The same concerns the latest political news a country releases.

2) The Housing Info

Such kind of information should be considered either. What does the housing information mean? For instance, each month the United States of America releases the info concerning houses which are under contract and which were sold. You should also find the information about how many houses were built every month. Using such a strong indicator you can figure out whether economy of a country is stable or not. If a country’s real estate market is ok, you can suppose that the economic condition of a country is good as well.

3) Interest Rates

Maybe you think them unimportant but in fact the worldwide interest rates provide a huge impact on the Forex market fluctuations because they influence foremost on the currency values. For example, in the USA the so-called Federal Reserve provides certain fixed interest rates on bank loans. And if they announce a change of the interest rates this fact impacts on the value currency (in this particular case – the USD). Consequently the changes in the value of a currency can cause changes of the Forex market exchange rates between different international currencies.

To conclude, we should say that these are the most obvious and important factors which impact on the Forex market and the exchange rates fluctuations. Lots of other not so important factors but still impacting on the Forex should be considered as well.

How to control "DESTRUCTIVE EMOTIONS" in forex trading

FOREX MINDSETEmotions are part of human nature, but don't underestimate the power or influence. It is necessary to focus also on improving our psychological mental connection with this emotion. Although we understand, will mature along with the emotions flight hours and experience, but it would be nice if we understood early on that destructive emotions affect our trading.

What are emotions such as can happen when we trading? I believe, each trader has felt as directly involved in it, emotions have a large profit, emotionally recover quickly after a loss, emotional want immediate transactions as much as possible,

Implementing methods of trading with discipline is the only way to overcome destructive emotions.

So how do you do it?

1. You need to understand and have confidence to enter the position of 1000%.

Don't ever follow the method that you do not understand and do not have confidence, that you need is important to have the mindset that your transaction will produce profit. Patience is the key, mark well that "patience makes you paid".

You have to understand why you get in the position and how your method will work, including its strategy. So the OP was not arbitrary and trial and error. Must if you want to try to use the smallest volume that's meant only test.

2. Take heart was not tempted to always get in position at all times. if too often look at the chart, the market effect is often annoying and teasing you. Patience and stay focused, on what system. although a lot of the time you need to see the chart.

3. If, loss .. That's all right. Loss bit of it is okay. If lucky a lot of it was very good, it was a nice little profit, loss in fact could have been minimized. So you are wise in the use of Money Management. Slight loss, remember those who loss a lot, so you can keep smiling .. Take your losses to remain patient. All businesses have losses and forex trading is no different. When the loss, the mindset we should assume it is the cost of doing business. keep enjoy with it! Forex is 1000 years old again.
Importantly how a trader to manage his emotions into a powerful force to be able to achieve the profit is the main goal of every trader.

Why You Should Get Started With Mini Forex Trading

If you are new to the world to currency trading and aren?t ready for a full time Forex trading account find out why you should get started with a Mini Forex Trading account. With just a couple of hundred dollars you can set up a Mini Forex Trading account and enjoy many of the same privileges that a full account enjoys.

A normal Forex account requires you to put a minimum of $2500 into the account and for many that?s far more than they have to play with or want to play with. That?s why you should get started with a Mini Forex Trading account.

A Mini Forex Trading account let?s a person play, find out if they like what they see, and decide whether it?s an investment portfolio that appeals to them and it?s why you should get started with a Mini Forex Trading account.

Although there are some restrictions on the mini account there are very nominal. A Mini Forex Trading account handles 10% of what a standard account is and the PIP is also 10% and it is why you should get started with a Mini Forex Trading account.

When you get involved in mini trading you are actually marginal trading which means that you are borrowing money so that you can complete a trade without having to put the full amount up yourself. This is called leveraging and it?s why you should get started with a Mini Forex Trading account.

When you open your mini account and you put the minimum $250 in your account and that gives you 5 mini lots to trade. So see why you should get started with a Mini Forex Trading account? On a normal account the leverage would be 4:1 and the heavy leverage of 200:1 might be a bit hard to take but in Mini Forex trading this is not considered over leveraging.

The investor?s risk on a Mini account offsets the lower risk of losses which are 10% the amount that would be lost on a regular Forex trade. This actually makes it easier to run a trading strategy that is more disciplined. So you see why you should get started with a Mini Forex Trading account?

If you want to invest less than $10,000 using a Forex mini account is the way to go. Now that you know why you should get started with a Mini Forex Trading account what are you waiting for?

The Economic Indicators

Economic indicators play a huge role in the forex market, particularly in the form of fundamental analysis. Some of the most influential indicators for the dollar include Non Farm Payroll, Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) interest rate decisions, trade balance, Consumer Price Index (CPI), and retail sales.

Non Farm Payroll (NFP) is a good indicator of the employment rate and overall strength of the labor market. It represents all business employees excluding general government employees, private household employees, and employees of nonprofit organizations, accounting for about 80% of the workers who contribute to GDP. The full report also includes estimates on the average work week and weekly earnings of these employees. As a general indicator of the health of the economy, usually the dollar in forex trading is affected more the further from expectations the figure for NFP turns out to be. The general trend for NFP since 1990 has been increasing. Overall, NFP has increased from 109,144 in January of 1990 to 135,106 in May of 2006. Generally, when NFP is lower than expected traders will begin to sell the US dollar on the belief that it is weakening. The opposite is true for an unexpectedly high NFP. NFP is released at 8:30am EST on the first Friday of every month and tends to cause an average move of 124 pips in the EUR/USD.

Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) decisions in general indicate the overall strength of the economy. The FOMC sets the discount rate or federal funds rate (the rate that the Federal Reserve Bank charges member banks for overnight loans) which is highly influential on the forex market. Because interest rates are set higher to induce foreign investment and therefore fight inflation during times of prosperity and lower to increase spending during recessions, they are an important indicator of the strength of the dollar. Increases in interest rates tend to lead to a strengthening of the dollar, while decreases usually precede a depreciation. Therefore, following rate hikes traders usually buy the dollar, anticipating an increase in its value. The opposite is true when the FOMC reduces rates. For the past 15 years the federal funds rate has experienced a net decrease, from 8.23% in January of 1990 to 4.94% in May of 2006, with periods of significant variance inbetween. There are eight scheduled FOMC meetings per year, each of which is usually followed by an average move of about 74 pips in the EUR/USD.

Trade balance measures the difference in value of the goods and services the US imports and those that it exports. From another perspective, it may also be considered the difference between national savings and national investment. A surplus exists if the exports exceed the imports, and a deficit, the current situation for the US, exists if the opposite is true. The balance can be affected by a variety of factors, including prices of domestic goods, exchange rates, trade agreements or barriers, and other trade regulations such as tariffs. Trade surpluses are generally not bad for the economy, but may lead to harmful protectionist policies. Deficits may lead to loss of jobs and problems with debt servicing. The US has had a trade deficit since the 1970s, at 1.7 billion in 1990, 6.7 billion in 2005, and continuously increasing. This could be because of the dollar’s use as a reserve currency and its overall strength, the growth of the US economy, high demand for American investment assets, rising oil prices, and globalization. Depreciating the dollar could be a possible solution to this imbalance, through a variety of methods. This would give consumers less purchasing power, ideally leading to a decrease in imports. This makes the trade balance less relevant as an immediate influence on forex trading but rather valuable as an alert to likely future Fed decisions. In general, however, a deficit is considered a sign of US economic weakness and therefore may lead traders to short the dollar. Trade balance is usually released near the middle of the second month after the reporting period and is followed by an average move of 64 pips in the price of the EUR/USD.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is a statistical measure representing inflation based on a fixed basket of consumer goods. Used to deflate other economic indicators and set wages, CPI is useful throughout the economy. The US CPI has been steadily increasing for the past 15 years, from 127.5 in January of 1990 to 201.0 in April of 2006. The response of traders to CPI is difficult to predict because although a high CPI is a signal of trouble in the economy, prompting traders to short the USD, it also tends to forecast interest rate increases by the Fed to which traders usually respond by buying. CPI is released around the 13th of every month at 8:30am EST followed by an average move in the EUR/USD of 44 pips.

Retail sales is a figure measuring the amount of goods sold by a sampling of stores, meant to be representative of consumer activity and confidence in the economy. Therefore, high retail sales numbers imply a strong economy. The retail trade sector, as delineated in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is considered to include companies selling finished goods or rendering services incidental to the sale of finished goods. Since 1992 the US retail sales numbers have been steadily increasing, jumping from 7.14 billion in January of 1990 to 8.77 billion in May of 2006. Generally forex traders respond positively to high US retail sales numbers and long the dollar, shorting it when the figure is lower than expected. Retail sales numbers are announced around the 11th of every month at 8:30am EST causing an average 44-pip movement in the EUR/USD.

Why You Should Be Trading The Forex

Have you heard of the forex market before? The forex market is a term that is often used to describe the foreign exchange market. After a close examination, you will see that there are an unlimited number of reasons why you should be trading the forex, if you aren?t already doing so.

The foreign exchange market was first established in 1971. It revolves around the exchange or the trading of foreign currencies. Forex traders, or foreign exchange market participants, exchange one nation?s currency for another nation?s currency. The foreign exchange market grew in popularity as it was learned that the exchange rates for foreign currencies regularly floated or changed. This is where the potential of making a profit came in. Fast forward to today and a number of developments have helped to increase the popularity of the forex; developments that have made the forex the largest financial market in the world.

Now that you know the basics concerning the forex market, you may be wondering if it is right for you. What you may not know is that the forex has evolved overtime. As it was mentioned above, a number of developments had a profound impact on the foreign exchange market. One of those developments was forex brokerages, whom started opening to the general public in the 1990?s. With the assistance of brokers, many ?everyday? individuals saw an opportunity to trade the forex. For many, this was something that once was viewed as being out of their reach. Whether you are an experienced trader, such as someone who has dealt with the stock market on a daily basis, or even if you didn?t fully understand what the foreign exchange market was until today, you can still trade the forex. In fact, if properly executed, you may even be able to make a substantial profit doing so.

Unlike the stock market, the foreign exchange market is open for trading twenty-four hours a day, five days a week. The reason for this is because of market place locations; trading occurs in locations such as the United States, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Due to different time zones, the forex market is open twenty-four hours a day. In fact, that twenty-four day ability to trade on the forex is just another one of the many reasons why you should be trading the forex, if you aren?t already doing so. Essentially, there is no exchange center or clearing house. Instead, forex traders and their brokers deal directly with other brokers, banks and interbanks.

In addition to the ability to trade whenever you have the time to do so or the ability to seek assistance from a forex market brokerage firm or broker, you should also be trading the forex because once you learn how the foreign exchange market works, trading may become a regular source added income for you. Before you go searching for a forex brokerage to work with, it is advised that you examine forex training courses. Forex training courses are typically offered by brokerage firms, but there are now a number of training courses that are being offered by those without hidden agendas. Many brokerage firms offer you free or discounted forex training courses, most of which are sub-standard, only with the hopes of acquiring you as a client. While the price is nice, you shouldn?t let a free or discounted training course choose your forex market broker or brokerage firm for you.

When searching for a forex training course or program, you are urged to examine Fxcenter.com. The goal of FxCenter.com is to prepare you for forex trading. As they are a training center, not a brokerage firm, you are given the utmost level of training and education available, without any hidden agendas. In fact, the one and only goal of FxCenter.com is to adequately prepare you for trading on the foreign exchange market. When doing this, FxCenter.com staff go by the belief that quality learning is better than rushed learning. For that reason, you will see that many training courses require at least a minimum of twenty hours worth of initial lessons. Completing each training course in phases that also includes live marketplace trading should help you feel comfortable trading on the foreign exchange market. This comfort will be critical when placing your own trades, and also helping you avoid some unnecessary risks.
